Desperate Housewives hunk Ricardo Chavira reveals secret wedding

Ricardo Chavira may have women troubles on Desperate Housewives, but he's just become a married man in real life.

Chavira, 36, wed his longtime girlfriend, Marcea Dietzel, in a private ceremony on Sept. 22 in San Antonio, Texas, show publicist Chandler Hayes said.

Chavira confirmed the marriage to Entertainment Tonight on Monday on the Housewives set. The interview was to air Tuesday.

The couple have a 4-year-old son, Tomas, who acted as best man and ring bearer, Hayes said. So laid back was the affair, Chavira and Dietzel wore pajamas for the ceremony and headed to their son's soccer game afterward in lieu of having a reception.

Chavira plays Carlos Solis on the ABC hit and is currently caught in a love triangle with ex-wife Gabrielle, played by Eva Longoria, and Nicollette Sheridan's character, Edie.

Yeah, that's what I like about him. He's the most down-to-earth person on the cast

He does seem down-to-earth, and it looks like he does the show because he enjoys acting and it makes a living, rather than to get rich and over-exposed, er, I mean, famous. The fact that he got married without whoring out the wedding is an example. He looks like someone you'd want to have a beer with, as opposed to Eva Longoria, whose face you'd like to smash a beer bottle across.
