Miley Cyrus: no sex before marriage!

Disney teen-queen Miley Cyrus works the blue carpet at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Party at Hollywood hot spot Opera on Wednesday.
The 14-year-old Hannah Montana show opened up about all those pregnancy rumors, telling Extra, “It’s given me the street cred to say that would be impossible, because I’m living my life the way I believe is right and that is to stay pure.”

Miley apparently does not believe in sex before marriage. She said, “No, I don’t at all!”

Is that even possible in Hollywood? Just ask Britney!

This kid may have every intention at the age of 14 to abstain from sex until she is married. Instead of doubting her or making fun of her, we should commend her statement. There are soooo many kids looking up to this girl, and maybe if some teenage girls sees/hears that Hannah Montana is going to stay a virgin, it may inspire them to do the same. How many times have we all posted on threads about unwanted kids and abused kids. If that one statement can stop one unwanted child from being born-thank God.

I love how being a virgin is somehow associated with "purity", as if consenting sex between partners is somehow "polluting" or "dirty".

I dislike the idea that having sex makes you unpure but I like her saying this. She may feel differently in a few years but considering the way other young stars are acting I like the idea of promoting a bit of sensiblity.

I don't know much about her but i'd like to see her become one of those young teen stars that can actually be a good role model for young kids. After all, there isn't that many role models left in Young Hollywood these days. So I really do hope she stays out of trouble for a good awhile since she is so very young.

She is fourteen... the whole not until marriage thing may seem a little hard core but I know at 14 I wasn't thinking about fucking anyone in the near future... knew alot of people who were.

Yeah, and like a good Catholic girl, she could give head to half the Jr. class and still be a virgin.

that's gross "crackho", but true.

but i hope she sticks to her word, kids should stick to no sex, it's sad when they pregnant at such a young age, and then having to experience abortions.
