Desperate Britney Spears reaches out to Lynne Spears for help

Is it rock bottom for Brit? A desperate Britney Spears reached out to her mom for help over the weekend. Britney and her mom Lynne reunited Sept. 16 at Britney's new Malibu home, reports OK! Magazine. It was the first time they had faced each other since June 28, nearly three months went by and her life spiraled out of control.

This is a good thing as Britney needs family love and support. At some point she has to realize just how serious her problems are as outsiders and the courts can now change her life with a stroke of a pen from the judge's bench.

OK! has this inside report: Britney's mom, her sister Jamie Lynn and her brother Bryan arrived at Britney's in a white Range Rover (that Britney used to drive) and stayed for 90 minutes. An Eyewitness tells OK, "Lynne seemed happy when she left Britney's place." Good - some harmony is needed.'

Lynne fell out with Britney when her daughter failed to visit on Mother's Day. Then, on the weekend of June 15, Lynne, 52, showed up at Brit's home uninvited and later hung out with her grandsons and Kevin, which infuriated Britney further. Brit finally warned her mom to stay away from the boys. Let's hope reconciliation is in order - the two little boys and Britney both need it.

If this is true, which I really hope it is, (since Twitters is quite in a disaster state anymore) I hope all goes well and she gets the help she so necessarily requires with her family's support.

If this is true it makes me mad. She had to publicly humiliate her Mom delivering that stupid letter to her, and now she decides she needs her Mom again. I know she's crazy, but she owes her Mom a huge apology.

^^ yeah but from the sounds of it, Lynn is 110% the mom that Britney will never be. And real moms forgive and love their kids. Thats just what they do.

She really needs Lynne. She is going to die if she dosn't have her family to help her. I hope this is true...but I don't think it is.

Here's hoping Britney talks her mother into getting custody of the boys while she's at it. Neither her nor Kevin deserve them.

It's also quite unlikely that the grandmother would get custody when the father seems to be doing an okay job looking after them.

Wait, I thought the general concensus was that Moma Spears is one if the reason Britney is so fucked up...why is she suddenly the only salvation for Britney?

Hmm, I think the little tykes will be better off for a while when Lynne is around, but watch out when they're older and she tries to get them into the market.

Still, I'd rather see an over ambitious grandma involved that just Lurlene and Cletus.

I dont think shes salvation by any means. I remember watching some special on VH1, Driven or something. And they told the story of how Britney's mom pretty much dragged her to NYC to begin performing on Broadway, broke up the family to pursue her dreams etc. I just got the strong impression that Lynn was operating a la Dina Lohan, pushing and pushing her daughter. Nobody really talks about that aspect but thats what I took from it.

I think its mostly a matter of getting a responsible, functioning adult in the picture. ANY responsible, functioning adult.

I think Lynne would've learned a whole lot of lessons from Britneys downfall to ever try that again with the grandkids.
At least she's not an alcoholic and doesn't do drugs. As far as the Spears are concerned that seems to be a huge point in her
favor.
