I expected more from her, and she had me fooled into thinking she is above trying to prove she's still sexy.

ETA: To me, that distracts from her overall sensuality and beauty.

She is actually going to be 48 this year.

I expect this kind of thing from Madonna, not Julianne. Still, Julianne seems pretty insecure, and I'm sure it's a huge ego boost for her to be able to land on the cover of a major fashion magazine in a "sexy" pose at age 47, even if the pic is heavily airbrushed.

Love the aggression she's showing. She couldn't have pulled it off 10-20 years ago. Good on her. I even love how her face is aging.

Yes, she's sizzlin'. Love her face (although not so much in this pic)--she reminds me of a porcelain sculpture most of the time.

Few women in the 45+ age group have found their place in Hollywood. Or perhaps I should say, Hollywood hasn't offered much of a place to women over 45.

My my, didn't we all just dip our tongues in some acid today.

I thought models were on covers of Vogue. Julianne Moore's not a model.
Not anymore. HAven't you heard the underfed modelling brigade cmplaining that actresses have taken over teh covers of all teh top fashion rags? Poor little darlings. How are they going ot pay thier dealers?

Anyway, not the best pic I've ever seen of her but not the worst either.

I agree. I thought she had more class. That photo is every kind of wrong. Those open leg shots are always nasty.

The sad thing is that Julieanne is 25 years older than Lilo...

I don't like the whole concept of this shoot, it's too brutal & low-brow for her.
