This must be the result of the long arm of Scientology. Surely there are many actors at least 6'2" who could have played that role.

I like TC as an actor, but him as Jack Reacher was just an embarrassment, a joke. The whole point of Reacher is the fact that he is completely unbothered by any sort of physical fight because he's bigger than anyone else and that he knows and exudes that. What was TC thinking? Acting is one thing, but he just couldn't be the threatening presence required at 5'5 or so. Even the idea of taking the role made his misconception about himself obvious.

I have no idea who the girl is, but I once saw Cruise's height listed as 5'7 and 2/16th on some celebrity site. Not sure the 2/16th really makes much of a difference I did really like him in Collateral and Magnolia.

One of my friends was in front of him in a store queue with her then bf (now husband). She’s tiny - her bf was 5’7” max (I was taller) and they both said he was around 5’5”. 5’6” max!

Don’t men tend to add 2” to their height? So this would be around right.

I vote pervert. i've never heard a child refering to a young actress as a young actress. That kinda implies that you're a lot older than said actress.
