Default 21st Anniversary of Chris Farley’s death

December 18th marked 21 years since Chris Farley passed away. Adam Sandler just did this touching song tribute to his friend Chris on his Netflix show. I’m not gonna lie I laughed but I also teared up too. Enjoy.

Wow, 21 years?! Does NOT seem possible. Thanks for posting the video, I didn't know they were friends. And that Sandler is a musician. Really nice tribute!

Ugh well I cried as I knew I would. Loved him and loved them all on SNL. They were my cast.

Yup, I cried too. Should have waited until after work to watch it instead of during my lunch break. Now I have to calm down the sniffles and sound perky on the phone.

Can't believe it's been that long either. I must've been 13, and I remember I was standing in the kitchen when I heard it on the tv. It's weird the things that stick in your mind. I remember being really surprised, because I had no idea he had drug problems. Anyway, he never failed to make me laugh on snl. He was without a doubt my favorite cast member. That coffee commercial where they tell him he's not drinking Folgers, but a different coffee will always be one of my favorite things on snl ever. I wish I could find it on youtube.

Of course he is, don't you remember the Hanukkah song?

And I agree, great tribute to Farley.

That was a great tribute! Chris Farley was so funny and nice. It's a shame that the nice ones die early and the funny assholes live to be grizzled old geezers.

I follow David Spade on twitter, and his tweets were so sweet. You could tell he was still heartbroken from losing his friend. Personally, I was never a Farley fan much, but my kids LOVED him and they still talk about him all the time. I can't believe it's been this long.

My sister and brother-in-law met David Spade a few times in Cali. He was always a great guy, doing photos with people at whatever comedy club he played at.

Well, don't I feel fucking ancient. I actually met him at a bar in Key West a few months before he died. He was super-cool and friendly.

I was never a fan. Never found him funny at all, but still very sad he died so young. I can't believe it's been 21 years.

His motivational speaker character ("I live in a van down by the river!!") had me on the floor everytime!

And when he's interviewing Paul McCartney. 😆😆😆
