Cristiano Ronaldo Reportedly Paid A $375,000 Settlement To Make A 2009 Rape Case Go Away

    April 27, 2017 / Posted by: Michael K

Earlier this month, the German news magazine Der Spiegel reported that an American woman, they called “Susan K,” had accused the football-playing piece of overcooked bacon and soon-to-be father of three, Cristiano Ronaldo, of raping her in the penthouse of the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas in 2009. The report claimed that Susan K was scared for her life at the time so she didn’t report it to the police. He reportedly paid her $375,000 in hush money. At the time that Der Spiegel’s report came out, his team basically called the story fake news and said that it was built on unsigned documents and that the alleged victim has never come forward publicly. They made it sound like they were thinking of suing Der Spiegel. But it doesn’t look like they have yet and Der Spiegel has done the opposite of backing down. They doubled down on their story today and published what they claim are signed settlement documents. They also claim they have text messages from Cristiano about the settlement negotiations. Like a giant cloud covering the sun during Crispy’s skin-baking time, Der Spiegel isn’t playing around with him.

The details of Susan K’s allegations are here if you want to read them. Der Spiegel (via Bleacher Report) said today that they got the documents from the whistleblower site Football Leaks and that Cristiano Ronaldo uses the code name “Topher” in them. (“Why it gotta be Topher?” – Topher Grace)

Der Spiegel writes that the meditation meetings between Susan K, her lawyer and Cristiano’s Portuguese lawyer Carlos Osório de Castro happened on January 12, 2010 in Las Vegas. Cristiano wasn’t there but Carlos reportedly texted with him during the negotiations. Susan K cried over Cristiano Ronaldo not being there to face her. The text messages that Der Spiegel claim are between Cristiano and his lawyer read like a negotiation for a damn house.

Forty-seven minutes after the first SMS, Ronaldo received a second message from Las Vegas. This time, it was just a number: “950,000 dollars.” It appears to be the sum that the counterparty was seeking in compensation. Ronaldo wrote back: “That’s the amount?”

Osório de Castro answered: “That is the first demand: That’s 660,000 euros. We won’t accept it. The negotiations are continuing.”

Ronaldo then asked: “Is that too much?” Osório de Castro replied: “I think so. I think we’ll close this for less.”

Ronaldo then demanded: “It has to be less!” His lawyer replied: “OK.”
Der Spiegel says that both sides eventually agreed on a number. Tollin, a firm based in the British Virgin Islands, was reportedly authorized by Cristiano’s lawyers to make the $375,000 settlement payment. The invoices from his lawyers went to the Ireland-based company Multisports & Image Managemen. Both companies have apparently handled his endorsement money for years.

There’s a lot more to Der Spiegel’s report and it all can be read here. This isn’t the first time that Cristiano Ronaldo has been accused of rape. In 2005, a woman accused him of raping her in a hotel in London. Scotland Yard later said there wasn’t enough evidence to charge him.[COLOR=#666666 !important]

Cristiano Ronaldo’s lawyers still deny every word of Der Spiegel’s reports. He’s also kept his lips shut about this.

Well, if any of this is true, then I need to apologize to the artiste who sculpted that horrifying, monstrous, nightmarish and shitty Cristiano Ronaldo bust. They may have captured him in his true form.

I don't know anything about this guy other than he's a footballer, so I had no idea this was ever even a rumor. But I also was under the impression that he was openly gay, so I realize that I really don't know anything about him.

I don't know how to feel about this. Weird for a gay man to be raping females isn't it? Rape is usually more about power than sex though. My little boy is wearing his Ronaldo kit to soccer practice today.

Like I said, I don't know anything about him. I assumed he was gay, but never cared enough to delve into that rumor for any reason. I never knew he was accused of multiple rapes and I can't believe $375,000 would ever be enough hush money to make a rape case go away. I'm not judging the alleged victim, but if all this went down, the fact that this is the price he and his lawyers put on rape, then I don't know what to say to that.

He is Ronaldo, in his mind, the word "No" does not apply to him. He does not hear it often anyway.
He is a brilliant player, does all for his team, but he is also such a pompous asshole.
    He is NOT gay?

I also thought he was gay.

It is the second woman to accuse him of rape.
I read the Spiegel article, this is what stood out: (I only pasted a small part of the article)

The documents reviewed by DER SPIEGEL include a memorandum that details what the footballer might have once told his lawyer Osório de Castro about the night in Las Vegas. It states that Ronaldo had sex with K. That he went to bed afterward. That she went back to the Jacuzzi. And that there had been no signs that she wasn't doing well.....

What is known is that K. did contact the police at 2:16 p.m. on the day of the alleged attack. ....

The police who spoke to K. noted that the caller was crying and very upset and didn't want to provide the name of the suspected perpetrator. The caller said the person in question was a "public figure," an "athlete." The officer noted that K. had not bathed

Shortly after 2:30 p.m., a police car showed up at K.'s place. The police officers made several radio calls to police headquarters. There, an officer noted that the suspected victim wanted to go to the hospital to undergo a "rape-kit" forensic examination.
.In her letter to Ronaldo, K. wrote that he had injured her rectum that night.

The victim is an upper middle class woman who was married at the time so she probably didn't make this public either but still wanted to let him know it was not OK. Really looks bad for him.

He could be gay and still rape women as rape isn't about sex, it's about power and anger. Men who identify as 100% straight have raped other men.

Cristiano Ronaldo Denies New Allegations from 'Celebrity Big Brother' Star

Cristiano Ronaldo has called in his lawyers after a British reality star made serious allegations against him on social media this week ... and we're told CR7 adamantly denies all wrongdoing.

Jasmine Lennard -- a UK fashion model who starred on the British version of "Celebrity Big Brother" -- went off on Ronaldo on Twitter ... claiming they dated for 10 years, during which she was subjected to emotional abuse and threats.

Lennard claims she recently watched "Surviving R. Kelly" and was inspired to speak out against Ronaldo ... and feels compelled to help Kathryn Mayorga, the woman who is suing Cristiano for rape.

We're told the soccer star views Lennard's allegations as "false and defamatory" and his lawyers are already handling the situation.

As we previously reported, Ronaldo is being sued by Mayorga -- who claims Ronaldo raped her in a Las Vegas hotel room back in 2009. She had initially filed a police report describing the alleged crime -- but didn't identify Ronaldo by name.

In her lawsuit, Mayorga says she later accepted a $375,000 payment in exchange for her silence -- but now, she wants that agreement voided.

The Las Vegas Metro Police Dept. has also reopened the Mayorga case -- though no charges have been brought against the soccer star.

There was a Sunday newspaper in the UK called 'News Of The World' and Ronaldo would feature regularly. The pics would show Ronaldo 'cavorting' with several young women in bikinis/all in one bathing suits.
My cynical old brain was thinking '...hmmmmmm..a picture tells a thousand words...'. However, a picture can also tell you what it wants you to think. Those hot girls were being paid to frolic with Ronaldo in order to create the impression that he was a total babe lover.
I agree that he is a great player but, the impression I get, is that the ball is always fed to him in order for smash it into the back of the net and thus take the glory. If you look at Gareth Bale-he isn't fed the ball very much, it's all down to the fact that he's got pace. He has to work harder to get the ball, but he appears to be very intelligent player-he reminds me of snooker players who have an almost mathematical ability to know how to pot their balls in the desired pockets. Purely my opinion.x

Cristiano Ronaldo Submitting DNA In Vegas Rape Case, Cooperating with Cops

Cristiano Ronaldo has been asked to submit a DNA sample as part of the police investigation into his Las Vegas rape case ... and we're told he plans on cooperating 100%.

As we previously reported, the Las Vegas Metro PD has reopened the investigation into claims made by Kathryn Mayorga ... that CR7 sexually assaulted her in his hotel room back in 2009.

Mayorga went to cops back in '09 but didn't identify Ronaldo by name out of fear of retaliation.

Just a few months ago, Mayorga filed a new lawsuit against the soccer star saying Ronaldo and his team of "fixers" coerced her into signing a settlement at the time -- and paid her $375k in exchange for her silence.

When that lawsuit went public, cops said they would reopen the case now that they had the name of the alleged assailant and, as part of the renewed investigation, they went to Ronaldo within the last week and asked for a DNA sample as part of standard sexual assault investigation protocol.

Our Ronaldo sources tell us the 33-year-old continues to deny all wrongdoing and plans on cooperating with investigators to prove his innocence.
