Katherine Jackson accuses nephew of elder abuse
There’s more drama brewing within the Jackson family.
Katherine Jackson was granted a temporary restraining order against her nephew and personal driver, Trent Lamar Jackson after she alleged he is emotionally abusive, reports E! News.
The legal complaint also says Trent accessed the 86-year-old’s bank accounts and made purchases on her credit cards without her approval.
“Trent has manipulated Mrs. Jackson so much, and preyed on her known kindness, that whenever the police arrive or efforts to press elder abuse charges have been undertaken, she ultimately recants or changes her mind,” reads the document.
Katherine, who has raised Prince, Paris and Blanket Jackson after their father Michael‘s death in 2009, has alerted her family of the alleged abuse. However, once Adult Protection Services arrive Trent has “convinced her by crying or begging not to report him, and the cycle starts all over.”
According to TMZ, the order demands Trent stay at least 100 yards away from Katherine and he must vacate her guest house, where he’s been living.
