Is Sophie wearing a fitness watch?? I think she has beautiful skin. She's positively glowing in those pictures with Kate, and I mean that in a good way.

Sophie always gets it just right. When Prince Philip finally carks it his youngest son Edward will inherit his title as Duke of Edinburgh so Sophie will become his duchess and she will rock it.
Lol Sophie is usually Anne-levels of frumpy, so this is one of her better efforts. She and Edward are the gruesome twosome, not because she's unattractive (she's way too good for him) but she's always looked like her Mum dresses her.
I guess she's allowed to be boring and Kate isn't!
Well they're all expected to be a little on the dowdy side, ie not flashy. But Kate is younger and higher on the pecking order so she's allowed to be slightly more adventurous. Sophie could wear whatever she wanted so long as it was tasteful, nobody expects her to be glamorous all the time but she usually looks really uncomfortable, or like she's wearing something from the Queen Mum's collection.
And I think she's passed the mumsy gene onto her daughter. That kid's still wearing white tights and maryjanes and she's like 13 or 14.
