    Fox is getting a pre-holiday jump on promoting Grease: Live.

    The network on Tuesday released the first promo for the live musical Tuesday ahead of its broadcast during Scream Queens.

    The musical stars Graceland and Broadway alum Aaron Tveit as Danny Zuko, with Julianne Hough set as Sandy. The cast includes Vanessa Hudgens as bad girl Rizzo, Keke Palmer (Scream Queens) as Pink Lady Marty Maraschino, Big Time Rush's Carlos PenaVega as Kenickie as well as Carly Rae Jepsen as Frenchie and You're the Worst breakout Kether Donohue as Jan.

    Grammy nominee Jessie J will open the live event, set for Sunday, Jan. 31 from 7-10 p.m., with a new version of the Barry Gibb's "Grease (Is the Word)" that was featured in the opening title sequence of the 1978 film starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John.

    Grease: Live is exec produced by Marc Platt (Wicked). Thomas Kail will stage direct while Alex Rudzinski will helm for TV. Broadway writers Robert Cary (Anything but Love) and Jonathan Tolins (Buyer & Cellar) will pen the the live TV adaptation. Paramount Television produces. Zach Woodlee (Glee) is on board as the choreographer.

    Isn't it bad enough that this chick ruined the remake of Footloose? Why are they doing this to Grease?!

    I keep getting pulled into these events because I love stage shows, but don't ever get to see them. With that said, I also keep getting disappointed by them. I won't get my hopes up for this, but I'll watch. I have to say that Vanessa Hudgens looks great as Riz.

    I saw the YouTube this morning & was very impressed d with Vanessa Huggins, however, I just LOVE Stockard Channing.

    i like stockard too. she plays alicia florrick's mom on good wife - funny, slick little character.
