Default Gwyneth Paltrow Launches Health Food Line

Launching healthy meal services is the new craze among health-conscious celebrities, with Beyonce and Cindy Crawford introducing their own foodie products.

Now Hollywood star and lifestyle guru Gwyneth Paltrow is following in their footsteps, with a line of virtuous ready meals of her own.
The 42-year-old Iron Man actress has teamed up with her best friend and fitness guru Tracy Anderson and business partner Maria Baum to launch 3 Green Hearts.
The locally sourced, organic range includes gluten-free pastas, fish tacos, kale ravioli, quinoa salad, fresh juices and smoothies.
But the toned trio have also catered for those who have a sweet tooth and will be offering customers frosting shots (cups of icing).
Celebrity trainer Anderson told Hamptons Magazine, 'I'm a major foodie so there's also going to be frosting shots, but the frosting is made without all the processed things that really hurt us.
'I've figured out how to make the best cookies that have no gluten, no soy, no dairy, no nuts, no eggs - all the main common allergens.'
The ready meals will be available from Anderson's East Hampton and Water Mill fitness studio locations to start with a view to expand in the future.
The entrepreneurial ladies hope to evolve the brand to also include green cleaning products and beauty products that are paraben-free.

30-Day Method founder Anderson added: 'If I can be a part of making it easy for people to eat natural foods and be able to feel like they can lead a natural lifestyle and have it be affordable, that to me is really key.'
Goop-founder Gwyneth recently shared her age-defying exercise secrets with Women's Health.
The mum-of-two said: 'Doing some cardiovascular exercise everyday is really good for my skin for detoxification and skin tone and colour
'I do the Tracy Anderson Method, so I dance for an hour.'
The workout uses light weights (no more than three pounds) and high repetitions of toning moves to sculpt lean muscle.
She also revealed her body confidence secret, adding: 'I believe, as cheesy as it sounds, in exercise, laughing, having sex, being yourself.'
    +
Beyonce, 33, recently teamed up with personal trainer Marco Borges to create an on-demand vegan service called 22 Days Nutrition in February.
All of the meals in the plan are all plant-based and delivered once a week, with all ingredients non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free and organic.
Meanwhile, runway star Cindy Crawford partnered with Neka Pasquale, the founder of organic food company Urban Remedy, to create Cindy's Essentials - a line of shakes, cold-pressed juices, snacks, meals and even caffeinated beverages that can be consumed in three days or spread out over the course of a week.
    'It's not a cleanse,' the 49-year-old said.
'That's such a thing, like: "Oh, I'm on a cleanse." But this is just having something as convenient as vending machine food that's good for you.'

Dairy, eggs and nuts are all "natural" foods and have a place in a balanced diet as long as you have no food allergies. How much processed food is in these gluten-free, soy-free prepackaged meals? And frosting shots? How disgusting is that? Why not just drink some maple syrup? That's a natural product! I've tried some of the gluten-free, dairy-free desserts and they're awful. But perhaps they taste good when they follow a gluten-free vegan meal.

So that's why she's back on magazine covers with Tracy Anderson. I agree that the frosting shots sound disgusting and purchasers will probably give them to their kids (or bonus kids, LOL.)

This food is obviously designed to suck out a person's will to live.

I've had some insanely delicious and incredible vegan, wheat-free, soy-free, meals and desserts, but it's always been fresh. These pre-made meals are inherently gross imo, and if it's "healthy" then it just tastes like reheated cardboard. If someone wants to go this way with trying health food, paying (what I assume will be) out the nose for Goop's boxed food is not the way to go I just don't like any of this pre-made diet meals, they don't teach you to make your own and they'll never be comparable to fresh, homemade stuff, which'll probably lead to people ditching it imo

Also, how the hell do you tone anything with using nothing more than 3 lb weights?

But dying will cause you to lose weight, so win-win.

Building muscle - heavy weights, fewer reps. Toning - lighter weights, more reps.

I agree, though, that 3lbs is pretty light. The lightest weight I use is 5lbs and I find that one almost too easy.

^I would think the body would get used to it, though, and it'd no longer tone past a certain point? Otherwise you'd need to up the reps to what could be a ridiculous amount after a while? I don't see how far you could really tone with just 3 lbs, especially if it's a max. I weight lift but still know next to nothing about it, though, so maybe it works.
