Maybe I'm off base here, and even putting the Kardashian/Jenner thing aside, I just don't see an 18-year old as a "face" of Estee Lauder. I always pictured their demographic as much older. And who knows, maybe that's what they're trying to change. But I know at that age, I was definitely not buying the more expensive department store brands. It was all drugstore stuff...Maybelline, Cover Girl, Revlon etc. One, I didn't need any fancy skin care at that age, and two, I didn't have that kind of disposable income for it.

I used a few of the cosmetics (not any of the skin care stuff) when I was 25-50. I eventually got bored with them and now i hate the scent and it's now too expensive for me! Higher end cosmetics keep going up in price and they NEVER have sales. My priorities have changed and I refuse to spend $50 for a couple of ounces of moisturizer.
