Default Kirsten Dunst: Actors Who Get Taken Advantage of "Court That Stuff"

    Kirsten Dunst
doesn't have much empathy for anyone complaining about the casting couch.

In an interview with W Magazine guest-editor Sofia Coppola, the 31-year-old reveals she's never worked with a director who made an inappropriate advance on her, explaining, "I don't give off that vibe."

"I think you court that stuff," she says, "and to me, it's crossing a boundary that would hinder the trust in your working relationship."

That's not to say that the former child star's career ascent, which included a 2008 voluntary rehab stint for depression, has been seamless. "[My] hardest age was 27," she tells Coppola. "I had to figure out how to navigate differently through my life."

Fortunately, though, things are looking up for Dunst these days. "My favorite age is now," she gushes. "I love my friendships, and I know I have fun things to look forward to."

She was groomed and learned her lesson. Allen, Polanski, Singer and all the others approve of that message.

How nice, now all rape victims should realize that it's their fault!

Why are some people even given a platform to spout their stupidity?

I don't think what she said pertains to rape victims at all. I believe she is speaking to the many young women, and men, who happily participate in casting couch activity.

I love the combination of her skin tone/eyes/hair color. Very pretty.

I choose to to agree with sluce and I will assume she's talking only about the casting couch and not rape. Although I guess the two aren't always mutually exclusive. Either way I think her statement just wasn't worded well.
