I will miss him, even though I stopped watching TV after 11 four years ago. I would catch his show on occasion. I like his dry, slightly twisted humor.

The late night talk shows have turned into a young mans game. I use to like Dave when he did NBC's Late Night, but not after he switched to CBS. I have maybe watched his show a total of 10 times in the last 20 years. I wonder if his ratings are really slipping with Jimmy Kimmel and now Jimmy Fallon nipping at his heels. Not sure how Arsenio does with his new show,...haven't watched it, either.

I love Letterman. I hardly watch any more because I'm in bed too early now. But I grew up watching him and will always adore him.

Letterman was my guy when he was on the Late Show. I didn't much watch the CBS show though.

Don't watch Letterman, but good for him for going out on top.

I like Letterman. He was always slightly less ass kissing than Leno, with a more biting sense of humor. I liked him when he was on Late Night on NBC and I liked him on Late Show on CBS, but everything was a little less polished and shiny on NBC, which I liked a bit better.

I like Dave. He's smart and has a the sense of humor I like. I think that's why I like Jimmy Kimmel, his sense of humor reminds me of Dave.

Oh you whippersnappers. I remember when Dave had his morning comedy show, yep if you blinked you would've missed it but I've loved him ever since. I'll admit that I don't watch much nowadays but I always knew he was there, just in case I was in the mood and up late enough. I'll be sad when that's not the case anymore. And I will definitely watch tonight. REM, really?

I love Jimmy Fallon! He's a breath of fresh air. A nice guy who can still be funny and new.

Leno is a big butt kisser. The only reason I pay attention to him is because of his car collection. He lost points with me after than backstabbing debacle with Conan O'Brien, and I totally stopped watching him.

Dave could always make me chuckle and he could be snarky and respectful of his guests simultaneously. It's a gift.
