Default Rachel Zoe swings her son for the paps and he falls over

Baby steps! Little Skyler takes a tumble after being swung by parents Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman

He learned to walk earlier this year but that doesn’t mean Rachel Zoe’s son Skyler is safe from taking a tumble.

The 19-month-old fell on his face during a West Hollywood outing with his stylist mother and father Rodger Berman on Saturday.

The tot was enjoying being swung as the happy family strolled in the sunshine but at one point Skyler’s parents lost their grip.

The 19-month-old fell on his face during a Los Angeles outing with his stylist mother and father Rodger Berman on Saturday

Skyler fell on the sidewalk but thankfully was uninjured and bravely got up without making a fuss.

As usual the little boy was looking fashionable and had presumably been dressed by his glamorous 41-year-old mother.

He was wrapped up warm for the uncharacteristically chilly Californian weather.

Little monkey: Skyler was being swung by his parents as they strolled along

Slip up: Rachel and Rodger then lost their grip on the 19-month-old and he fell

Skyler sported a white beanie hat, pea green coat, jeans and brown boots.

Meanwhile Rachel wore a grey and blue striped sweater dress, and black accessories in the form of suede platform boots, a faux fur gilet and knitted hat.

The family stopped off to pet a shaggy white dog during their afternoon out together.

Oh dear: Skyler had fallen flat on his face but used his little hands to break his fall

Brave boy: Skyler, who was wrapped up warm for the chilly weather, hopped up unscathed

Skyler is the couple's first child, and Rachel revealed recently that she is doing her best to balance her work and personal lives.

She told Britain's Vogue magazine recently: 'There's a reason why I waited 100 years to have a baby, because I knew what a challenge it would be and what it would take.

'I'm not at work 100% of the time like I was in the last decade, I can't be, but I don't need to be. I have the most incredibly devoted, hardest-working team and there isn't a bad seed in that lot .'

So sweet: The youngster and Rachel decided to pet a shaggy dog they met during their outing

Take off the hooker boots, and maybe your will be a bit more stable. Rachel was showing off for the paps, and she got what she wished for.
On a side note, her little boy is dressed cute.

Children falling is the best slapstick comedy in the world to me. Way better than an adult falling because the look of total shock and surprise and then the tears are all so earnest, they hold nothing back. If I see it happen irl I can't control my giggles.

Both parents weren't even looking at him! I never did like this trick either.

I kind of like it with the big sentences, it makes everything seem very important.

I agree. The kid looks none the worse for wear after the fall, and it kind of makes me laugh when these little minor mishaps happen in front of the paparazzi. Is that horrible? LOL

When my kid falls she gets pissed because her hands get dirty!!! She's to busy asking for "sink" to cry!! Cracks me up. She holds her hands up and says "Oh, no. Sink!"

Rachel needs to know that kids can't walk right in all that gear. Jeans with a belt and boots are not the easiest thing for kids to move around in.

He looks a lot less like the devil's spawn in these pics.
