Mel C splits from boyfriend of ten years, Thomas Starr

Melanie Chisholm has split from her long-term partner.
The Spice Girl, 38, and Thomas Starr, 45, were together for ten years and have a three-year-old daughter, Scarlet.
A spokesperson for Mel C confirmed the split to Mail Online this morning.

Early signs? The singer hinted at entering a 'new chapter' during an interview a few weeks ago


The singer met the property developer during a holiday in Barbados in 2002, and have been together ever since.
They shared a home in north London and welcomed daughter Scarlet in February 2009.




Only a few weeks ago, Mel discussed her relationship in an interview with Good Housekeeping.
'I’d like my house to be run with military precision, but unfortunately someone else live there – a man!' she said.

'So he scuppers that. We’re probably a good combination, though, because he’s very spontaneous and I like to be organised.'
But she also hinted at a new chapter in her life, adding: 'This year a new door has opened for me, and I’m curious to know what’s going to happen next.

'But doing this feels like my life has gone full circle and I’m back to my original passion – performing.'
Mel recently reunited with the Spice Girls to promote their upcoming musical Viva Forever, and is currently appearing on ITV show Superstar, though reviews so far have been less than stellar.

Funny, it wasn't blurred out earlier when I saw this article on the Mail site. Maybe Mel requested them to blur it. I know Kate Winslet's kids had their faces blurred out when they lived in England, but not in the US.
