Mel Gibson Called Holocaust Horses**t, Threatened To Have Ex Killed Says Screenwriter | Radar Online
By Alexis Tereszcuk - Radar Entertainment Editor
Mel Gibson is under fire again, accused of more anti-Semitism, this time from a Hollywood screenwriter who says he was the recipient of repeated hateful rants from the foul-mouthed star.
Joe Ezterhas, who was slated to write the screenplay for the Gibson project The Maccabees, wrote a scathing letter to Mel where he leveled the claim that Gibson “hates Jews,” called the Holocaust “horses**t” and threatened to have his ex killed.
Ezterhas wrote that Gibson was doing the movie “in an attempt to deflect continuing charges of anti-Semitism which have dogged you, charges which have crippled your career.”
He shockingly says that he now believes Gibson is truly anti-Semitic.
“I’ve come to the conclusion that the reason you won’t make ‘The Maccabees’ is the ugliest possible one. You hate Jews,” Ezterhas wrote in the letter obtained by The Wrap.
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Mel was caught in a series of violent voicemails threatening to kill his then girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, and Ezterhas writes that he was witness to Gibson’s continued threats.
“You were raving at Oksana even after you’d reached a custody agreement over Luci,” he writes in the letter.
“And then you were even more explicit about your threat: “I’m going to kill her! I’m going to have her killed!” You said you’d become friends with two FBI agents (or former FBI agents) and they were going to help you to kill her.”
Ezterhas said Gibson also unleashed repeated anti-Semitic rants.
"You continually called Jews 'Hebes' and 'oven-dodgers' and 'Jewboys.' It seemed that most times when we discussed someone, you asked 'He’s a Hebe, isn’t he?' You said most 'gatekeepers' of American companies were 'Hebes' who 'controlled their bosses.'"
The slurs continued Ezterhas claimed.
“You said the Holocaust was 'mostly a lot of horses**t.' You said the Torah made reference to the sacrifice of Christian babies and infants. When I told you that you were confusing the Torah with The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, ... you insisted 'it's in the Torah -- it's in there!' (It isn't)."
Unlike his vile rant against his ex, where he one time threatened to bury her in a rose garden, for which he never apologized, Gibson responded back to Ezterhas’ claims without addressing any of the specific hateful rants Ezterhas accused him of.
“I will acknowledge like most creative people I am passionate and intense,” Gibson told Deadline.com.
“I was very frustrated that when you arrived at my home at the expense of both Warner Brothers and myself you hadn’t written a single word of a script or even an outline after 15 months of research, meetings, discussions and the outpouring of my heartfelt vision for this story. I did react more strongly than I should have. I promptly sent you a written apology, the colorful words of which you apparently now find offensive. Let me now clearly apologize to you and your family in the simplest of terms.”
Warner Bros. has reportedly put a hold on the project after reading Ezterhas’ script.

Of course Whoopie and RDJ will still say he's just misunderstood. I believe every word of it. Mel tries to deflect by complaining about him not having a script ready.
Mel is certifiable.
Fun is the best thing to have
It was reported on my local TV station this morning that Gibson said that John Lennon deserved to be shot.

Is that worse than being a holocaust denier?
Gibson has been saying this for yearsMel Gibson, Holocaust Denier?
By Austin Cline, About.com Guide February 4, 2004
In the debates over Mel Gibson's upcoming film The Passion, one thing that has always been insisted by his defenders is that Gibson is not antisemitic and not a Holocaust Denier, even though his father apparently is. But is that really true? He was recently given a chance to demonstrate that and.... well, the results weren't very encouraging. Peggy Noonan, a Catholic journalist, asked Gibson "You're going to have to go on record. The Holocaust happened, right?" According to The New York Post, Gibson responded:
"I have friends and parents of friends who have numbers on their arms. The guy who taught me Spanish was a Holocaust survivor. He worked in a concentration camp in France. Yes, of course. Atrocities happened. War is horrible. The Second World War killed tens of millions of people. Some of them were Jews in concentration camps. Many people lost their lives. In the Ukraine, several million starved to death between 1932 and 1933. During the last century, 20 million people died in the Soviet Union."Why is this a problematic response? Because not once does Gibson actually acknowledge that the Holocaust occurred - not once does he state that the Nazis tried to exterminate the Jews because they were Jews. Instead, he uses some fancy footwork that is common among sophisticated Holocaust Deniers. David Bernstein explains:
Holocaust deniers, at least the sophisticated ones, don't deny that Jews were sent to concentration camps, and don't deny that Jews suffered during the war, and perhaps suffered a bit disproportionately because they were Jews. What they do deny was that the Germans singled out the Jews for genocide, that millions of Jews were murdered, and that Jews were sent to death camps, not simply to labor or concentration camps. Nothing that Gibson said was inconsistent with the views of a Holocaust denier, and, indeed, as I pointed out, his statement sounds a lot like the stated views of the editor of the Holocaust-denying Journal of Historical Review. This all may be innocent on Gibson's part, and, if someone would ask him directly, "do you believe that the Germans murdered approximately six million Jews during World War II" and he said "yes" I would leave it at that. But given that he grew up in an anti-Semitic family, with a Holocaust-denying father, and has now asserted views that are very much consistent with the views of a Holocaust-denier, I can't say that my presumptions are with him at this point.Gibson also said something else interesting during the interview:
Of his dad, Gibson says, "My dad taught me my faith, and I believe what he taught me. The man never lied to me in his life."I wonder if that includes statements about the Jews and about the Holocaust? Mel Gibson, Holocaust Denier?
Is this news to anyone? He's just passionate & creative & you fuckers just don't get IT!!! so, blow him!!!
One of these days, he's going to act on these threats and hatred...

Mel Gibson celebrates the death of The Beatles singer John Lennon | Bossip
Mel Gibson Celebrates John Lennon’s Death
According to TMZ reports:
Mel Gibson celebrates John Lennon’s death, claiming he deserved to die … this according to the screenwriter of the failed “Maccabee” project, Joe Eszterhas.
In a scathing 9-page letter, obtained by The Wrap, Eszterhas claims Mel once ranted about the departed Beatle, “I’m glad he’s dead. He deserved to be shot. He was f**king messianic. Listen to his songs! Imagine. I hate that f**king song. I’m glad he’s dead.”
According to Eszterhas, Mel saved his true fury for Oksana Grigorieva, saying, “I want to f**k her in the a$$ and stab her while I’m doing it.”
And on the business side, Eszterhas claims Mel said this of Ari Emanuel, the head of the William Morris Endeavor Agency: “He’s a c*nt Jewboy.”
Mel needs to have a handful of seats and get a prescription for some type of bi-polar medicine.
I guess we're lucky he hasn't done anything worse than he already has - he sounds no better than a lunatic fringe, self-righteous George Zimmerman.

I wonder if Gibson knows that RDJ is partly jewish in both ancestry and practice.Of course Whoopie and RDJ will still say he's just misunderstood.
What is with people who deny the holocaust? Are they completely fucking stupid?? Silly question, I know.
I think it's the kind of mindset that wants to believe that 9/11 was an inside job, that Barack Obama was really born in Kenya, and on and on. They latch on to some small detail that seems paradoxical (counter to what most people believe and that common sense dictates) and then think it somehow invalidates all the overwhelming evidence that is contrary to their beliefs.
Interestingly, in that NY Post article by Austin Cline, Gibson reportedly says, "The guy who taught me Spanish was a Holocaust survivor." Gibson didn't say "a so-called Holocaust survivor". In that sense, he seems to acknowledge the event. However, he then proceeds to conflate a deliberately planned, systematic genocidal campaign with overall war casualties - as if to reduce the significance of the Holocaust as an historical event.
