Nicole Richie says she is too thin, and not a good role model

Socialite-turned-actress NICOLE RICHIE has faced up to her weight loss after insisting she's just naturally thin. THE SIMPLE LIFE star has opened up to style magazine Vanity Fair, admitting she shudders at the thought of young women trying to obtain her skinny look. Richie accepts her slimline look can be a concern and admits she has a weight problem in the publication. She says, "I know I'm too thin right now, so I wouldn't want any young girl looking at me and saying, 'That's what I want to look like.'" But she insists her weight problems are not connected to an alleged eating disorder, and she's doing whatever she can to take control of her health. She adds, "I started seeing a nutritionist and a doctor... I do recognise that I have a problem, and I want to be responsible and fix it, and I'm on that path right now." But even her doctors aren't convinced the star isn't anorexic. In the upcoming Vanity Fair article, one of her medics, JEFFREY WILKINS says, "If it's not anorexia, she should be able to gain the weight. If it ends up being anorexia we can help her with that."

I don't want to make this post all about me, but I used to say the same crap that she did when I had my ED. Like, "oh, I know I'm too thin, I just got really stressed out, I'm working on it, I'm not anorexic, blah blah blah..." It's all lies to take focus off the problem, so you can keep it up.

I find it funny how it's Vanity Fair that's reporting on Nicoles thin-ness, same as Lindsay Lohan. I wonder if Nicole will be denying that article any time soon.

If she's not ana, why is she wearing that damn red ana bracelet all the time? i have a friend who's ana and she always sports a red bracelet on her right twig (arm), too. She tells me that it's well-known in the ana community what that red bracelet on the right wrist means.

It's ABOUT TIME she admits she has a problem!! Now, hopefully she will ADMIT WHAT the problem is. (I've kind of gone back-n-forth between thinking it's anorexia and thinking it's cocaine addiction.)

Being in the public eye, she is in a position to do some good with admitting to and talking about her problem, and thus maybe preventing other young girls from following in her shoes.

Most importantly, PLEASE GET HELP, NICOLE!!
