Douglas Kennedy, the 10th of Robert and Ethel Kennedy's 11 kids, has been busted for harassment and child endangerment.
The part-time Fox News reporter, was visiting his wife Molly following the birth of their fourth child last month when the incident occurred.
What everyone agrees on is that Kennedy decided to take his newborn son for a walk outside of Northern Westchester Hospital on January 7.

What hospital personnel, the cops and the DA now say is that when nurses tried to stop him, Kennedy became aggressive and attacked.
Nurse Cari Maleman Luciano told investigators, "'Instinctively as a nurse, I raised both my arms toward the neck of the baby to steady the violent shaking of the baby's head and neck," but then Kennedy kicked her in the pelvis and caused her to fall.
In security footage of the incident, a figure can be seen to fall backwards away from the elevator.

A "code pink" was sent out indicating a possible child abduction, but Kennedy continued to argue, according to the Mount Kisco, New York police report obtained by NBC New York.
Kennedy actually fell onto the floor with the baby in his arms, according to the cop report. He then got up and ran "down the stairs with the infant until he was stopped by security and escorted back to the infant's room."
A lawyer for Kennedy says his client just wanted to give the baby "some fresh air" and insisted the baby was not injured and slept through the altercation.

The statement to NBC New York from Kennedy and his wife said there was no crime. "The nurse had no right to attempt to grab our child out of his father's arms and I, Douglas, was shocked and appalled when she did so," the statement said.
Through his attorney, Kennedy has vowed to fight the charges.

I think most, if not all, hospitals have security measures in place to prevent anyone (including family) from just walking out with a baby in their arms, so it was stupid of him to expect to be able to just casually go on a stroll with a newborn in his arms. Perhaps they should have had a home birth so he could take the kid out on a neighborhood walk at his leisure.

What an idiot. Unless you are being discharged or you and your baby need other, serious medical attention, you cannot take your baby out of the maternity ward. You especially cannot take your baby out of the maternity ward/floor in your arms. Even if you want to walk your baby around the maternity floor, you must keep your baby in the bassinet that has wheels and push them. If you get too close to the doors, the alarm goes off. Even when we were being discharged, they had very specific ways to do it, I'm guessing to ensure safety. We had to put the baby in her car seat, I had to sit in a wheel chair and hold the baby in her car seat on my lap. Plus, a nurse escorts you, all the while making sure your bands match. Even if these are the same nurses that have been taking care of you and know who you and your baby are.

Meh, I'd say they're all pretty true to RFK's actual legacy, not the sanitized version the public came to believe after his death. A man that had Joe McCarthy as godfather to his first born.

Bobby wasn't always the man he began to become in the last year of his life. His life is full of some pretty nasty stuff. If he hadn't have been killed it would have been interesting to see if he had become that person he projected in his campaign.

I just saw the surveillance clip where the nurse goes flying. She wasn't rushing him either. Just walking up.

I think the Kennedy money is going to win out on this thing. They've got a doctor at the hospital who says he was there and that the nurses were the "aggressors". And Kennedy's lawyer says that Kennedy reacted "calmly, quietly". Unbelievable. You can see the nurse literally go flying out of the elevator.
