Not content with simply making her mother's name synonymous with bad parenting, Christina Crawford is developing a one-woman show in which she she'll share new details about her family — including never-before-seen home videos of a nude Joan Crawford. The play, which is titled Surviving Mommie Dearest, is based on her books Mommie Dearest and Survivor and Christina says it will offer "a much more complete story."
As for the videos, Christina says she's shocked her mother never destroyed them. She adds:
"I never knew that they existed before a year ago and never saw them before a month ago ... I remembered her telling me about her married lover, Charles McCabe; however, I never saw photos of him till the home movies, when they were hunting, fishing and canoeing in the Poconos."... while naked, apparently.

When the first book came out, it was a great salacious read. The movie was pretty bad, but everyone loves to see an idol fall. Now she is treading into making us feel sorry for her mother. I mean, enough is enough. You are a grown woman and your mother is dead....move on.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.
