Didn't see this posted yet. Not sure if anyone here outside of country music fans will know who she is but I like her a lot so thought I'd post it. Congrats to them!

Chely Wright: Married to Lauren Blitzer!

Chely Wright holds on tight to her spouse Lauren Blitzer in this Twitter picture posted right before their wedding on Saturday (August 20) in Connecticut.

The 40-year-old country singer and her 30-year-old love said “I do” in front of over 200 guests, according to People.

“Let’s get this party started xo c” Chely tweeted!

“The freedom of being out and open about who I am allowed me to find and fall in love with Lauren – the most amazing woman I’ve ever known,” Chely told People.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

I really like her & I am happy for her, especially being who she is in a traditionally not so excepting of others' lifestyle choice genre.

... but all I could think, looking at the picture, they both look SO thin...

^^Ugh is right. I hadn't read the comments when I posted this and now I wish I hadn't gone back and looked. Not overly surprising, though.

Anyway, they look beautiful and happy and I'm happy for them.

Although, that pic makes it look like Chely's looking down her wife's dress, haha.

He's probably thankful he dodged that bullet and married the woman he did. Seems like he's moved on but she still feels the need to drag him into this. At this point in his life he probably couldn't care less.

Yep, she wrote with him, toured with him, all while having a "roommate" at home. She whines about it in her book. I can see her not coming out all those years ago, in country music that would have been career suicide, but there was no justification for her fucking her way to fame and then blaming it on everyone else. She literally says shit like, I hated it every time he touched me. There was no reason to publicly humiliate such a sweet guy.
