Green Mile actor Doug Hutchison and his new wife, Courtney Alexis Stodden, certainly think so. The 51-year-old actor said "I do" to the 16-year-old aspiring country star on May 20 in Las Vegas.

"We're aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial," the couple told E! Online. "But we're very much in love and want to get the message out there that true love can be ageless."

According to Hutchison's website, "Mr. and Mrs. Hutchison live together happily ensconced in their Hollywood Hills home with their lil' pups Everette and Tuna!"

According to the Clark County, Nevada Marriage Bureau (as excerpted by PopEater) both marriage license applicants must be at least 18 years of age. This means one of Stodden's parents gave legal permission for their daughter to marry Hutchison, who is 35 years older than her.

Ewww! I'm with darksithbunny, I hated this fucker in the movie! I've only seen him in a couple of things since The Green Mile and one of them was the perp on an eppy of Law and Order: SVU. I think his role as Percy has forever type-cast him to playing weirdo.

I remember I emailed him years and years ago when I first saw Green Mile, saying he was a good actor and everything. Must have been around 16 or 17. I got a reply back from his PA etc saying Doug was really grateful for my email and he'd like me to send a picture back so he could put a face to the name. I didn't, it freaked me out. Glad now!
