While mama Madonna was turning heads at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala in NYC, NY last night, her first born daughter Lourdes Maria was showing off her own style on the streets of that very same city … in a simple yet very chic way.
It’s impossible not to see Madonna in her young daughter, especially when Lola so expertly takes cues from Maddy‘s signature fashion looks of the 80′s. Lourdes in this jeweled jean jacket is just perfection. And she don’t need a red carpet to prove that she is one stylish young woman.
I really love that Lola has become such an accomplished young woman at such a young age. I have no doubt that she is an integral part of the success of Madonna‘s juniors line for Macy’s called Material Girl and it’s clear that Lola is destined for fashion greatness. Some people are just born for superstardom … and while I don’t know that Lourdes will emulate her mother’s stunning success, I do know that she will find success on her own. Much like Madonna did when she was young, Lola makes fashion look so easy yet so flawless. This girl will set trends, mark my words. Shoot, if it weren’t so hot in LA these days, I’d be rockin’ a jean jacket todayShe looks fab, don’t she?

I would not call her stunning or beautiful. She looks like an average teenager- cute. She looks just like Madonna but honestly I have always though Madge was fug. Lourdes looks just like her... just prettier features or something. I don't know how that works.
