Default Britain's got talent judge Amanda Holden suffers a miscarriage

Actress and Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has lost the baby boy she was expecting, her agent said.
The TV star was seven months' pregnant when she lost the child on Tuesday.
She went to West Middlesex Hospital in Isleworth, west London, after the baby stopped moving. It was later stillborn.
Holden, 39, and her husband Chris Hughes were said to be "utterly devestated" at the loss.
The actress, who also lost a baby last year, only announced the most recent pregnancy in January when she was six months' pregnant. The couple have a five-year-old daughter Lexi.
The couple's spokeswoman Alison Griffin said: "They are utterly devastated.
"Amanda had been closely monitored throughout her pregnancy and it is not yet known what went wrong.
"Both Chris and Amanda would like to thank the midwives and staff at The Queen Mary Maternity unit at West Middlesex Hospital Isleworth for their tremendous support."

Sad. She managed to keep her pregnancy hidden until the 6 month too.

How horrible for them. I hope they find out what went wrong with both of these, to give them some peace.

I can't imagine losing a baby at that stage in a pregnancy. I've seen babies born earlier than this survive.

God that's so sad 7 months?? That would be absolutely traumatic to go through. I hope they can get some closure

My partner's ex miscarried at 5 months (I believe) - our fertility dr was quite blunt & said something along the lines of " there would have been something massively wrong with it". Hard to take but it seemed to have some sense to it...

At seven months, that has to be shattering. They must be gutted.

I heard something along the lines of what Novice mentioned - if I'm interpreting her correctly. A genetic counselor told us that many of the most common chromosomal anomalies will result in a spontaneous abortion. While a few others will result in something like Down Syndrome, which goes full term.

A few years ago, I had a coworker who carried her baby up until two weeks before due date - then the umbilical cord got wrapped around the baby's neck and strangled it. She said that she had sensed no movement all of a sudden. Then, gradually, felt incredibly cold - and went in to the hospital and found out what happened.

miscarriage at 7 months? wouldn't that be a premature baby?

however, I feel bad for her.
