Michael Jackson's ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley believes she could have saved him if she had reached out to him when he most needed it.

Speaking on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show', Presley admitted it may be 'naive' but she feels she could have possibly helped Jackson greatly if she had stopped being so 'shut off' from him, reports Music-News.com.

Jackson died in June last year and Presley, who was married to the singer between 1994 and 1996, said she is in deep regret about the lead-up to his death but feels that Jackson's situation was akin to a "train heading in a certain direction."
She said, "I know it's naive to think that I could have but I wanted to. Had I made a call, had I stopped being so shut off from him, had I just said, 'How are you?' I really regret that I didn't."

She added, "I think that was a train heading in a certain direction that no one could have stopped. I've had to really get my head around that in order to stop the pain."

Generally not making eye contact is a sign of guilt. I don't think she was being honest in this interview.
