Dominic Cooper and Amanda Seyfried have reportedly split, days after the actor was seen with Lindsay Lohan at the Cannes film festival. There is no longer just an ocean between Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper - the duo has reportedly decided to part ways.

The 24-year-old actress and her British beau have put their long-distance romance on hold for now, People.com reports.

"Amanda and Dominic have been on and off for a while - and right now they're taking a break," a source told the gossip Web site.

But Seyfried, who previously revealed that she wasn't sure Cooper was "the one," has not ruled out reuniting with the actor in the future.

"They're great friends and could still get back together," the source said.

Cooper appears to have moved on already. The 31-year-old "History Boys" star was spotted with Lindsay Lohan at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday.

The smoldering star reportedly had his arm around the waist of Seyfried's "Mean Girls" co-star, who currently has problems of her own.

Lohan recently missed a court date in Los Angeles over her DUI case after reporting her passport was stolen in France. According to TMZ, she was issued a new passport Thursday and is expected to return to Los Angeles Friday.

Seyfried and Cooper started dating after meeting on the set of “Mamma Mia” two years ago.

A very scary though. I imagine Linds' vag is kinda like a the Hotel California. You can check in but never leave.

And yes, a Lohan coupling is more than enough to warrant a break up.

I know I'm not alone here but isn't it funny how if you have a relationship end with a partner, and they start dating someone you deem "less than" appropriate, you are so appalled? Like, How did they go from me to that?
