This is the cover for the June issue of Britain’s Tatler magazine. Now, I love this photo of Jessica Alba. The green pops, and she looks flawless and beautiful and surprisingly, not like she‘s being tortured. But I have to quibble with the cover line: “Jessica Alba takes on Angelina to become Hollywood’s hottest heroine”. Really? I mean, seriously? Even though I hate it, I understand when Megan Fox gets the “new Angelina” comparisons because, hey, Megan has spent a lot of time, effort, and money trying to become the new Angelina. But Jessica?
I think perhaps the mag is drawing the comparison because of Jessica’s new film, The Killer Inside Me, which is directed by Michael Winterbottom, who directed Angelina in A Mighty Heart? But if we’re just going by who directed Angelina, I suppose Matt Damon is “the new Angelina” because he’s being directed by Clint Eastwood? Ugh. Anyway, regarding The Killer Inside Me, Jessica tells the magazine that she hated doing such a violent film:

Actress Jessica Alba has spoken of the anguish of playing a prostitute murdered by a serial killer. The 29-year-old described filming the brutal scenes with co-star Casey Affleck for The Killer Inside Me and said: ‘It was horrible when he was doing that stuff.’
She defended director Michael Winterbottom, who has been heavily criticised for the film’s graphic violence.
She told Tatler magazine: ‘It’s difficult material to tackle.’
The film tells the story of a small-town sheriff who becomes a psychotic killer. Scenes were so violent Jessica needed extensive make-up to disfigure her face. She said: ‘It was eight hours of make-up throughout the day. I couldn’t move, I couldn’t lie down, I couldn’t see out.’

I know she has a baby and all but she just looks so young to me, like 14 or 15 maybe.

Jolie has a plethora of tots so walking away from the ShRah sort of flicks might not be such a bad thing - then again she's only 34

Yeah I've always thought that Jessica looks really young sometimes, especially on that cover. Hell she makes me look about 50 and I'm barely 22.

Is Angelina still considered hot? Yes, she has a beautiful face but does anybody want to bang her corpse-like old lady body? I think Angie's hot and sexy days have been over for a very long time now.
The comparison between Alba and Angie seems to be so random. They have nothing in common.

I also thought Angelina's hot days were over, I think other actresses are considered to be hotter than her.

I don't know Entertainment Weekly put her movie first for summer movies.. Salt. The director said she did all her own stunts and has no fear. It's one of those flicks made for a guy and then changed for a woman.. when Tom Cruise backed out.
