Rihanna made a brief stop at a Swiss emergency room to get an injured rib checked by a doctor Monday night, the singer's publicist said.

"She had an injured rib and went to have it looked at to be sure it was nothing serious, and it wasn't," Amanda Silverman told CNN. "All is OK and the tour is going great."

The publicist did not say if the injury was suffered during a show. Rihanna performed in Zurich's Hallenstadion arena Monday evening.

The 22-year-old hip hop star is in the middle of the European leg of her "Last Girl on Earth" tour. The injury didn't stop her from performing Tuesday night in Lyon, France.

I think she's still dating the baseball player and the season already started so the speculation should die down pretty fast. She's in Europe and he's in LA playing baseball.

she definitely was NOT singing to backing track, it was all live. if she was singing to a backing track then she would have sounded half decent. she sounds like a cat being strangled

Ribs are tricky things though...the injury could have happened weeks ago and isn't healing right. Nothing you can do for them really.

IKR? But the track was still "singing" while the mic was in her hand which was out flailing about trying to balance herself before she slid. She did hit those horrid "notes" while getting up though.
