A Derek Jeter-Minka Kelly wedding? Not so fast, he tells his old coach


KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Derek Jeter usually doesn't comment on the rumors surrounding his celebrity private life, but he made a point of straightening out his old coach this spring.

Don Zomer, Jeter's baseball coach at Kalamazoo Central High School, caught the Yankees and Jeter at an exhibition game in Lakeland, Fla. this spring. The two chatted just before the start of the game and Zomer congratulated Jeter on his accomplishments since they last talked, like breaking Lou Gehrig's all-time Yankees hit record last September.
Then as they were parting, the coach said he remembered to add, "Oh, by the way -- congratulations on your engagement...

"Five heads popped out of the Yankees dugout," Zomer recalled, with a laugh. "He turned to me and said, 'Hey coach, I'm not engaged. Don't believe what you read.'"

New York tabloids were buzzing with rumors that the city's most eligible bachelor had proposed to actress Minka Kelly. But Jeter would never lie to his coach, right?

for me Jeter is one step ahead of John Mayer. Both love the dip and run. The only thing that really saves him this time is I can't stand Minka Kelly.

^ Idk. Jeter seems to have way more class than Mayonaise. Not to mention he doesn't seem to talk out of his ass at every opportunity and hold press conferences ont he street when he dumps his latest girl.

This video was posted in facebook. Derek Jeter apparently caught walking so far ahead that Minka kelly is seen running to chase up with him. Apparantly she gave him a big kiss in front of everyone at Dodger stadium the day before. Look as if she had him in a grip so hard like she would break him.

Must have caught him off guard because the next day he looks to be trying to get away from her and she's running chasing behind him. These athletes are not worth chasing behind. They all cheat and Jeter is notorious playboy no matter which pretty celebrity he's seen with. Arod is too. I think both Cameron and minka think they can tie these playboys down. Jeter was also said to been with Tiger's mistress Rachel and hooked Tiger up with Rachel after his party last summer. Then Jeter was rumored to have been with Rachel in Las Vegas for the fight. Supposedly she tweeted that Jeter wanted her to have more girls including her with him there.

Poor Minka is running behind him and he doesn't seem to slow down to wait for her. I don't think even Mariah Carey when she dated him would be running after him like that. Cameron Diaz said she flies out to answer her booty calls from Arod. Fun fact. Both Minka Kelly and Cameron Diaz dated John Mayer. Now both are dating Yankees and chasing them.

Jeter walking ahead of Minka and minka running behind him to catch up. he never slows down and wait for her.
