Kelly Osbourne set for foot surgery after dance show

KELLY OSBOURNE will be racing into surgery after her stint on U.S. talent show DANCING WITH THE STARS ends - because she can no longer stand the foot pain she's been suffering for years.
Ozzy Osbourne's little girl has been smiling through the pain on the show, but she's really beginning to struggle as the contest comes to an end.
She has ruled out quitting the programme now she's come so far and is one of the four last contestants - but she'll be taking her doctor's advice and checking into the nearest hospital as soon as she stops dancing.
She explains, "I have flat feet and somewhere in the 25 years of my life, I tore the cartilage in my bunion in both feet.
"I said no (to surgery). I didn’t want to have it because I believe if you start cutting things, you have a whole new set of problems and it wasn’t that bad, so I deal with it.
"Basically, my doctor said, 'Told you so... You wouldn’t be (like) this if you had had the surgery'. So I’m going to have to have it after the show."

She has done really well. She is now one of the last 3! Her parents were basket cases last night. They were suffering far more than her feet!

owwie. i have bunions too but for the opposite reason, my arches are too high, and genetics and high heels don't help. and i know someday i'm going to have to go through the pain in the ass surgery to get them fixed, which means either 2 separate surgeries and crutches and a long-ass recovery, or both feet at once and a wheelchair and higher risk of infection but half the recovery time. either way, no fun. i feel for her.

This is our genetic flaw. High arches + favored at least 3" high heels.
My cousin had both of her feet done at the same time 5 years ago. She had the crutches and it did take a while to recover totally,but now her feet are 200% better. She had them both done at once, because she said she knew she'd NEVER go back for the second one!
