Sarah Jessica Parker: I love the smell of dirty diapers!

Sarah Jessica Parker may have high-end taste for fashion, but when it comes to her sense of smell, she's a little less refined.
"I love the smell of diapers," she tells the December issue of Elle magazine.

Parker has been on double diaper duty after the arrival of her twin daughters Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge -- who were delivered by a surrogate earlier this year -- and she doesn't mind at all.
"I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm liked a baked good," the Sex and the City star, 44, says, adding that she even says she loves "the smell of Balmex," a diaper rash cream.
Parker also reveals that she and husband Matthew Broderick, 47, considered different options when they decided to expand their family, which also included seven-year-old son James Wilkie.

"I knew there would be lots of opinions about, ‘Well, why didn’t you adopt? Why didn’t you do this? Why didn’t you do that?’ and the truth of the matter is, it wasn’t one or the other for us," she tells Elle. "We had explored, and continue to explore all options, and this one just happened first. This isn’t the period at the end of the sentence."
Recently, the star has split time between her family and filming the sequel to the hit SATC movie in NYC. Despite ongoing reports that she and co-star Kim Cattrall, 53, still don't get along, Parker says she couldn't imagine playing Carrie Bradshaw without Samantha Jones.

"I don’t think anybody wants to believe that I love Kim," she says. "I adore her. I wouldn’t have done the movie without her. Didn’t and wouldn’t."

SJP Just Loves The "Baked Goods" Smell Of Diapers




Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have a pair of brand new BABIES!! at home, and she told Elle Magazine that her heart fills up whenever she smells her twins' freshly baked butt cookies straight out of the oven. SJP is not right for making me picture her sniffing on used diapers like an apple pie cooling on the window sill. NASTY SCAT HO:

“I love the smell of diapers; I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm liked a baked good. I love the smell of Balmex. Love it.”

Either SJP's neighborhood bakery should be shut down by the health department or her babies eat a lot of hay, carrots and sugar cubes.

Sure, I am a bio mom.

But when I babysat as a hen (female teenager -- male teenagers are roosters) I made sure that my charges were out of diapers.

What kind of a thing is that for someone to say, anyway? Geez!

I have no kids but I have changed a lot of diapers. Still I haven't had the need to smell them closely, it would be weird, like licking their bum or enjoying feces in a wrong way.
