Sandra Bullock in custody battle with husband’s porn star ex-wife

SANDRA Bullock is being forced to prove that she’s a better parent that her husband Jesse James‘ porn star ex-wife.
According to reports, the actress is being dragged into a bitter legal battle between Jesse and Janine Lindemulder — who has appeared in over 100 filthy films, including Mrs Behavin’; Sleeping Booty and Dyke Diner.
Lindemulder — who has just been released from a six-month prison sentence for tax evasion — apparently disagrees that Bullock and James have made a good home for Sunny, his five-year-old daughter.
When she was in jail in Oregon, Janine — who remains in a halfway house in Los Angeles until the end of this year when she can seek custody of her daughter — reportedly sent her former husband a bitter text message that read, “U win. Sandra finally has her baby — congratulations.”
James, 40, has launched a pre-emptive legal strike in wealthy Orange county, south of Los Angeles, where all three have beachside homes, according to the The Times of London. He has asked a judge to rule on whether Lindemulder is a fit mother.
“Good cause exists for the court to conduct a review to determine if [the girl] will be safe with [Lindemulder],” he said in a statement to the court. “She should be restrained from allowing the child around pornographers, drug addicts, guns and firearms, felons and other unsafe environments.”
Bullock, 45, recently admitted it “hurts” that she doesn’t have children of her own — but insists one doesn’t need to “breed” in order to be a parent.
“I may never hear that word ‘mom’. But being a parent is not about breeding,” she said. “It’s about caring. And it’s easy to say, but it’s harder to do.
“When you don’t have that title, you flounder and it hurts. But this is the best test of being a parent. And I just have to keep reminding myself I don’t care what I get. I care what I give.”

I checked Jesse's bio and it says he left her when she was 7 months pregnant. If that's true, it takes balls to turn around and sue for custody now.

I hatre hate hate Sandra Bullock, but the title is misleading. Sandra Bullock has no legal standing re the stepkids. Any legal action would have to come from Jesse...not that she probably isn't behind it.

I hope they get custody. Even if she is a good mother who just doesn't pay taxes,what kind of people would this child be around? Her Mom doesn't seem to have keen judgment.

I hope they get custody, too. I like Sandra and Jesse. I think they make a good couple and are pretty down to earth.
I really like what Sandra said about children. Being a step-parent is harder than being a biological parent.
Also, the mother must have other issue if she is staying in a half-way house and is not yet allowed to seek custody. I may not know a lot about the law, but tax evasion doesn't really seem like the type of thing that would put someone in a halfway house or take away their kids....there must be other problems.

Maybe Jesse never went for custody before because he never had any grounds. Now that the mom was dumb enough to get herself thrown in jail and was therefore unable to care for their daughter, Jesse has the upper hand. And the mom's in a position where she has to prove herself. Which I think is a good thing.

The most important thing should be the child's stability. I sincerely doubt Sandra Bullock is trying to steal this woman's child from her. Taking over full-time parenting of someone else's kid is no walk in the park.

There have been enough snipets of stuff about the mom, it's nit the first time that this has raised it's head. The little girl was subject of a story re bruises and also not wanting to go home after visits. JJ divorced her after she attacked him (with a vase?).
But of course some people will always blame the childless woman for "grabbing the kids" since her own dried up whatever can't spawn any *insert appropriate eyerolly smilie here for everyone that doesn't get my sarcasm* no matter if the bio-mom has anger issues & possibly drug issues? Obviously it's better for the kids to stay with their bio-mom, as no-one else would be able to parent them as well...

Yeah there is a lot of sarcasm in my post but this has to go through the legal system, the kid has had bruises & unexplained marks, etc. Regardless of whether or not the step-parent can/can't/won't have kids these incidents deserve to be properly investigated for the kids' sake.
