Clark Kent's pal arrested by feds as part of drug conspiracy!

Federal agents arrested Sam Jones III who played Pete Ross on the adventures of young Superman series Smallville.

According to reports, cops say Jones star was part of a conspiracy rto deal more than "10,000 pills of Oxycodone".

Jones was taken into custody by DEA agents who claim he was a co-conspirator in a series of major Hollywood drug deals last year.

Documents in federal court say Jones was the "Hollywood connection" in a plot to buy and sell the drug that when snorted or smoked produces a euphoric high similar to heroin.

Jones has been charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and is due to appear in federal court in Los Angeles later today.

If convicted, the one-time Smallville star up to 20 years behind bars.

There is no confirmation that Jones' bust is connected to the arrest of the Big Brother winner Adam Jasinski who was busted by feds over the weekend on similar charges.
