Roman Polanski has been moved from jail to undergo medical treatment, his lawyer announced today.
Herve Temime wouldn't go into too much detail, telling Reuters, "All I know is that he has been taken from prison for medical attention. I don't know where he is or when he will be returned to prison."
Polanksi has been in a Swiss jail since being arrested three weeks ago to face extradition to the U.S.

What do you guys think of Jerry Lee Lewis? He married his 13 year old cousin and impreginated her at just 14. The guy was never cautioned or is even brought up in this sense, he is if not worse, on the same level.

Exactly. What Jerry did was sick and wrong and he shouldn't be excused for it. But with Polanski, we're talking about rape. The girl was drugged and then raped and sodomized after she said "no". A crime regardless of her age. The fact that she was so young makes it especially icky.
Both are sick fucks, but we're talking different crimes here.

No it's not. Lewis' incident was 50 years ago, but it caused him huge problems as well:

Jerry Lee suffered quite a bit. He lost a lot of popularity after that stunt. He was even kicked out of England because of it.
