Scarlett Johansson sings her song “Shampoo” with Pete Yorn off their new album, Break Up, in stores now.
Scarlett says, “It’s been really exciting to hear people tell us that, you know, they like it and that it’s catchy. They’re singing it all day.”
Pete adds, “I figured, you know, most actors are multi-talented. They’ve got to be able to do a lot of things and they probably have some ability to sing.”

See, as a singer/songwriter this actually offends me. There's this new trend of edgy, scratchy, almost on key bullshit singing that everybody wets themselves over (remember that stupid fucking song from the Juno soundtrack?) and I do not understand it. Sure, lots of singers don't have beautiful mind-blowing voices, but they can at least sing well and hear their pitches without holding their fucking ears every two seconds. This shit is just pathetic. Maybe people who enjoy it have too much hipster wax in their ears or some shit, I don't know.
