Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's marriage a 'lie'....dur

Part of us truly thinks Candy Spelling paid this guy off to say these things, but regardless, a friend of Dean McDermott confesses that Dean's marriage to Tori Spelling is a sham!

No happy-go-lucky lovefest to be found at the McDermott-Spelling residence like on their hit reality show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood. Dean's pal, Michael Olifiers explains: "There is no question Dean is with Tori for the money and the fame. Dean's always been desperate to become famous. He craved being in the spotlight and Tori's his ticket to that life."

Dean's buddy insists that Dean's charade will continue as long as the money keeps rolling in, but once it stops, so will the marriage, as Dean doesn't even find Tori physically attractive. Michael says that Dean even once came to him and joked: "She looks like a horse!"

Yikes!

We could totally believe this! Yet again, it could also just be a jealous friend.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott seem to have the perfect marriage on their hit show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, but in reality, it's anything but. According to a friend of Dean's, their relationship has been a lie since the get-go and Dean has even said Tori looks "like a horse!"

"There is no question Dean is with Tori for the money and the fame," Michael Olifiers, an actor who's been friends with Dean for years, tells Star in a world exclusive interview. "Dean's always been desperate to become famous. He craved being in the spotlight and Tori's his ticket to that life."

But he didn't always have kind words for the woman who became his wife and mother of his two children. The night before Dean left to film Mind Over Murder in 2005, he fired off a barrage of cruel barbs aimed at Tori, says Michael. "I can't believe I have to kiss her," Dean joked. "She looks like a horse!"

Yet once the then-married Dean met Tori, who was a newlywed herself, all that changed — he dumped his wife Mary Jo Eustace and began scheming to latch onto Tori's fame and fortune. As her mega-rich father Aaron Spelling lay dying, Dean forced Tori to not make him sign a prenup. But when the legendary TV producer passed away a month after they married, Tori discovered she hadn't inherited the multi-millions she was expecting. "Dean was livid," says Michael.

Today, the couple earn a living from their Oxygen reality show and "exploiting their relationship," says Michael. "They do everything and anything to make money from their fame."

And Michael warns that his former friend will only stay with Tori if the money keeps rolling in — and if he cannot hook a bigger or richer star!

Dean is such a douche and gives off creepy vibes, so this very well could be true. If so, my heart goes out to Tori because nobody deserves to be treated like they're a piece of trash.

I always question the "friend" that rats out to a tabloid rag. C'mon really - ???

I don't know - if it's a sham then he's a damn good actor. I truly think they love each other. Maybe I'm a fool, who knows. We'll see how long it takes before we see the two of them out holding hands for the paps.

IMO I think 1/2 of the Hollywood marriages are a lie - so this is not news if it's true.

Can't wait for Tori's denials and Candy's response via TMZ.

As for Dean hooking a "bigger or richer" star....good luck with that, Weasel-Eyes McDouchy. Since you have soooo much to offer.

I know, that's what I was thinking. I know Tori and her mom are both immature, catty bitches but that almost made me Team Candy right there because I'd do the same thing.

Oh.. it gets better - while I was looking for that I came across an interview with Candy & she confirms that although Tori only got $80/800k cash she & Randy have a trust fund like Tori's kids do...

Both kids have multi-million-dollar trust funds, she says. As do her two grandchildren, Liam Aaron, 2, and Stella Doreen, 14 months.

And I totally buy this. I almost feel sorry for her, yet I could laugh for an hour straight about it at the same time. I'm torn. Not really.
