JESSICA SIMPSON: OPENING ACT FOR GOLF TOURNIE


Proudly wearing her horizontal stripes, Jessica Simpson sang the national anthem before the hitting of the ceremonial first tee to open the AT&T National PGA golf tournament at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD today (July 1).



The 28-year-old’s beau, Tony Romo, teed off in a group with Tiger Woods bright and early (6:30 am we’re talking) this morning. The hunky Dallas Cowboys quarterback manged to avoid jeers and boos despite being imbedded in Redskins territory.



But that didn’t stop one uber fan of the local team from do some bashing. Shortly after Jessica’s performance, a 10-year-old could be heard dissing the singer for “settling” on beau Tony, who was “getting chubby.”

Even the Washington Post bashed her:
'Jessica Simpson sang the National Anthem and then eventually left the first green before any of her body parts managed to escape, but I did ask her whether she saw any [Red]Skins fans around.

Really, I feel like she doesn't know better...or has a shitty stylist! I bet she thinks she looks great!

* My uncle owns his own company, but as a side/fun job he works for a chauffeur company that caters to high profile events in the area. Well he worked the day of the AT&T National and guess who he picked up from the airport: Tiger Woods and his Wife! He said they were the nicest people ever!

I only wish he had picked up Chestica so I could get some dirt for you guys!
