With her film career touching the void, Mischa Barton is probably more available than her agent would like these days.
And so to the Harrods sale, a great opportunity to put on a good show with Mohamed al-Fayed and re-ingratiate herself with the British public.
She chose a micro mini dress which showed off her long legs, but looked horribly washed out, pale and like she'd spent the week partying. Which in fact she had.

Her hair hung lankly around her face, her nail polish appeared chipped and her thick, black grungy eye make-up looked suspiciously like yesterday's.
The Harrods sale appearance is yet another disastrous style outing for the former OC star who was spotted looking bleary eyed after a meal at London restaurant, Nobu earlier this week.
The actress who ill advisedly took her clothes off for 2007 film Closing The Ring in a bid to reignite her ailing career looked the worse for wear last month as well after attending a 'Death By Daylight' event at a London club.

On both occasions Mischa, who was born in England, sported an odd Clockwork Orange style bowler hat, perhaps in a bid to celebrate her heritage.
She also wore the same mid-thigh black bejewelled coat that clashed with her red chequered shirt.
Mischa has recently been filming a pilot episode of A Beautiful Life in Canada, which is produced by Ashton Kutcher and co-stars High School Musical's Corbin Bleu and supermodel Elle Macpherson but is still best known for her role in the OC which finished in 2006.
The role catapulted Barton into the limelight but the glittering film career that was supposed to follow has never materialised.
In April the star prompted reports of too much partying after hitting three London events in just one day.
She was also spotted with Pixie Geldof enjoying a stroll through Camden and Primrose Hill at the weekend before sitting down for a picnic with friends in the sunshine.
Earlier this year the 23-year-old who is 5ft 9 was snapped looking painfully thin after dropping from a healthy size 12 to a size 6-8 in just six months.
Her dramatic weight loss was thought to be the result of unflattering photographs that emerged last year showing the actress with cellulite on her legs.
At the peak of the OC Mischa was the picture of glamour with healthy, glowing skin, glossy hair and, while she was still thin, was nowhere near looking gaunt and ill.
The actress is currently single after ending her brief relationship with The Kooks frontman Luke Pritchard.
