Default Angelina Jolie's next move - Portugal?

IUC World Exclusive: OLA - Angie House Hunting in Portugal

Posted on May 27th, 2009 by HisHighness in IUC:Entertainment, IUC:Exclusive
Angelina Jolie is fed with the public and media pressure living in the U.S. and has engaged a real estate agent in Portugal’s southern Algarve area to find her a beachfront property.

“She loves Portuguese and wants to raise her kids there,” a close friend of Jolie told IUC today. “She’s looking in a quaint village called Lagos. She wants to move there ASAP.” The friend refused to comment whether or not Brad Pitt would be joining her. “Lets put it this way,” she said. “They have an open relationship. Every day is a new day with them. I love the both dearly but I must confess things have been hard for them the past few months.”

N.B. I thought that Lagos was a big town... a lot of holidayers from the UK go there. Welcome to Lagos Portugal

It's a holiday resort. She needs to hide somewhere quieter.

Is she planning to pick up a spare kid in Portugal?

Yep, lots of drunken bellowing Brits and Dutch, up all night shooting off fireworks and puking.

This is why Halperin at IUC is so full of shit. No one who could afford better would ever choose the Algarve. It's like Angie settling down in Myrtle Beach SC - what, to shop at the Gay Dolphin and get laid on the links?

Tonight I heard some not so pleasant things about Portugal. I'll wait to share that tomorrow when I've sobered up.

do you mean "noone who could afford it would EVER choose..."

OR "anyone who could afford it would NEVER choose..."

Because at the moment with a double negative your post actually means that she WOULD choose to live there.

I was going to say the same thing. Lagos is hasn't been quaint since Mark Twain sailed by.

Doesn't sound like a good place for yet another clandestine birth.

Eek! Thanks for the correction. Edit!

The Algarve can be very nice, scenically very pretty especially in the Spring (while Northern Europe is still in a cold funk.)

But it's loud and touristy and kinda trashy. You really believe celebs hang there? The Portuguese don't even go there much because the vacationing Brits swamp the place - secretaries and accountants living large and loud for a week. This is where Madeleine McCann's parents went to swing and live it up.

Go ahead and believe IUC. Halperin is pulling shit out of his ass, and it keeps getting posted here. I wonder....

I went there when I backpacked around Europe. It was fun for a backpacker with no money in search of a beach and cheap food and eats but not somewhere I'd probably go now, although it is beautiful in parts.

Hopefully her next move is to stop acting. She looks like a wicked witch.

Mercy me, does she ever! I hope she is buying the home because that will save some poor property owner the expense of having to repair all of the damage the jolie's can do.
