You need to go back to the 1970s when men wore mustaches that looked good on them. Tom Selleck in Magnum, P.I., Robert Redford in Butch Cassidy, Burt Reynolds in Smoky and the Bandit, Billy Dee Williams in Lady Sings the Blues.

But yes, I think you're right. I probably was reading British books...and old books from the library. My library was more like a museum until the late 90s when they got someone younger than 89 to run it.

That is too adorable. I don't even want him to change.
Yeah... he's not giving that up. I moved on. His voice is adorable, so it's super cute when he says it. You might wonder why a Kindergartener says mustache so much at school.... Mr. Potato Head.

A lot of people are creeped out by John Waters's mustache. I always thought he just liked being creepy. He does, but the real reason he has the mustache is because he's been a fan of Little Richard since he was a kid, and so he chose to wear it in Little Richard's style. I think it's sweet that he still does it.

^I never knew that about John Waters. That's a cool story.

I love this guy. He looks so great in a mustache, other people who wear one should pay him royalties.

A long time ago, my dad read a review of some movie, and they added "....and Sam Elliott at his mustachioed best." My dad found that hilarious and from then on whenever Elliott popped up on a screen, my dad would joke, "There' Same Elliott at his mustachioed best." Now that my dad is gone, my brother has picked up the tradition.
