I can't explain the underoos or the crazy plastic surgery or really anything else about MJ, but I can explain the discolourations. It's well known that MJ has vitiligo - an autoimmune disorder that causes inexplicable white patches to appear randomly on the skin, sometimes in an alarmingly fast rate. Even in people who choose to bleach their skin white to eliminate the patchwork effect (like MJ did), the pigment can still come back...particularly in areas that are exposed to sun on a regular basis (such as his face). It probably explains why he wears a mask/veil to protect his skin the majority of the time, as well.

If people were a little more empathetic to the complexities of this condition, it would make life a lot easier for us! Unfortunately the MJ connection compounds the problem, as loss of pigment is now associated with WEIRD...which sucks for us!

I don't think it's freckles or discolourations on his nose, he popped on a prosthetic nose or slapped on some playdo.
