Interesting comments, PrettyGirl. They remind me of the time when Lourdes was born, and I did a chart comparison of her chart and Madonna's. She will definitely give her mother a run for her money. Not an easy relationship, but if the building blocks are in place from an early time, can develop into a very productive relationship. I do believe Madonna has made wise choices for her children (such as no TV and lots of books), and no doubt others the public is not aware of.
I'm certain that Madonna has also had her daughter's Hebrew astrology chart done (Kabbalah), and if she hasn't, she should.
And I think Honey has a good point. Maybe Lourdes isn't bothered by them, and even likes them.

Exactly! Look at the kid! Does she look like she's uncomfortable? No!!! She looks like a happy kid who has more important things to worry about than her goddamn moustache. Like the latest Harry Potter movie.
I hope she manages to preserve her innocence despite all the people trying to tell her that she needs to do something about it!

Maybe its not that obvious to her, photos always seem to show things much worse than they really are. I've seen alot of celebrity women with excess body hair, thanks to high resolution.

Gorgeous baby and young girl. The moustache bothers me a lot. If I happened to be near her with a pair of tweezers...
I'd be curious about the teeth. Kids get braces at 12 or 13 and wear them for a much shorter time than years ago. Madonna just loves her own gap toothed look, which to me ruins every picture when she smiles. Maybe Lola will want to look just like Mom.

In our culture gap teeth is a sign for wealth and hairy women are supposed to be fireballs at bed.
If Lola was my child before i came to GR,i wouldnt mind her brows or stache..
Now,not so sure..maybe a slight bleaching?

I don't know why but a moustache bothers me. I keep thinking of a woman wearing lipstick with a moustache. I get the cultural sexuality with body hair, but I sure want to slap some wax on that girl.

How do we know that Madge hasn't tried to get her to wax and she refuses to ?
I had pretty bushy eyebrows when I was her age (although I was lighter) and
there is no way in hell that I would have let anyone tweeze or wax me.
Maybe Lola just doesn't care at this point in time. I'll bet in a 2 years when she hits 13 it'll be a different story.

and children don't often tell their parents when they're being bullied because the parents don't take it seriously (mine didn't). Oh well, I suppose Lourdes has enough money to afford therapy for the next 50 years!
You're sweet. I'd love to kick their asses too. Luckily I moved away during 7th grade and didn't ever have to see them again!!!

I have a 12 year old daughter who has colouring somewhat similar to Lourdes. While my daughter doesn't need her eyebrows waxed (she's lucky enough to have great brows) - she did need her upper lip done. But rather than make a big deal out of it, I waited until she asked for it to be done. You have to be so careful as to how you approach this kind of stuff with a young girl - they go into that awkward, self conscious stage where, in their mind, everything is magnified to be so much worse. You could leave them feeling really bad about themselves.
As for Lourdes teeth - she probably hasn't lost all of her baby teeth yet and until she does they can't do braces.
She is going to be absolutely stunning when she's a bit older.

I suspect that Madge might indeed not want Lourdes to steal her thunder; if that's the case, Madge is a twisted, bitter old hag, worse than I originally thought she was.
Couldn't Madge at least allow Lourdes to trim some of the longer eyebrow hair with manicure scissors?
I definitely think that Lourdes is much, much better looking that her dear old mum, and Madge is going to have to face that reality one day.
Here's Lourdes touched up a bit; it was a quick job, but she will be absolutely gorgeous when she's a little older. Eat your heart out, Madge!
