I'm with this too. The Gossip are a cool band, I love that she refuses to cowtail to the Skinny Squad in celebrity land.... but FUCK! Obesity = health problems.

She's taking a stand on being fat and proud when she could be doing something to improve her health and wellbeing. She certainly doesn't need to be a twig, but she could do with losing quite a few kilos.

Maybe I'm the odd person out but I kinda like the dress but only because it reminds me of Escher, and I'm a huge
fan of that artist.
She could have made the dress work maybe if she did something else than the blue shit, and black hair.

Either way it (the dress)looks like Escher's 'Liberation' which is something about music, figure, shape, etc sort of business which could actually be a statement. Woo.

Yeah, and that I like. But she just doesn't appear to give a fuck about her own health and wellbeing, and then takes a stand about how being fat is fine. Well, it ain't fine if you're going to drop dead of a heart attack at a young age or develop type 2 diabetes due to complications from obesity....

THANK YOU! As a chronically chubby girl who ballooned after a near-fatal illness, I'd like to officially say "fuck you" to that mindset. I don't overeat, I'm as active as my health permits, and I can't lose any of the weight I've packed on because my body doesn't work right. I may develop heart problems down the line, I may develop diabetes, I may choke on my own lard someday, but you know what? It's NOT because I don't care. My extensive history of working closely with multiple doctors for years can attest to how hard I've tried. And there are many, many, many people just like me out there who have no choice but to be proud of their fat asses because they're not going anywhere no matter what they do.

I'm proud of Ditto. Rock that tight, busted houndstooth pattern all night long. Shake your big ol' belly all around the club. Haters to the left, etc.

^^ I slammed on loads of weight when I was on antidepressants and it took nearly two years after I stopped taking them to lose it again. And I probably ate less back then than I do now. Other people can, literally, live on raw carrots and celery and still not lose weight. Sometimes it's just the way you are built or other issues, just the same as it is for some chronically thin people. I hope things get better for you, Big Ben.
