What's bothersome is not her hairline or ponytail - it's the extremely weird orange shade of her skin tone. Is that self tanner? Foundation? It's all over.

JLO has to be serious about tanners because believe it or not her natural skin color is a pale white, but that's hard to believe because she's rarely seen in public with her arms and legs exposed without covering them with foundation - even the back of her hands - and she's been doing that like forever. That's also probably why at some events her makeup is on so thick, and there is a stark difference between her scalp and her makeup in the picture.
I think JLO would be cute, but she would never be considered as beautiful as its said she is if she were to ever be herself, and not cover up her natural skin tone to the extreme that she does.

Her ponytail doesn't look fake to me. In fact, I'd say that's the only thing about her that's real.

Probably hair loss from hormonal changes after having twins. Completey normal, though the damage she does to her hair everyday probably doesn't help matters.

Her hairline might be receding because of the PS.
In order to tighten the skin of your face, doctors cut a portion of it, close to the scalp, and sew everything back together, so you loose a stripe of skin that makes your hairline higher in your head...
Nicole Kidman is the perfect example to explain what I mean...

Right, but that picture is from August, 2007. They are getting her ready to shoot her "Do It Well" video. The receeding hairline could be from the wear and tear her weaves and hairpieces have put on it.
