Saffron Burrows towers over co-star Jason Statham at the New York premiere of The Bank Job, but it's her newly-acquired 'trout pout' which is attracting all the attention
Her possible foray into collagen implants overshadowed her otherwise immaculate appearance.
Wearing a gorgeous Grecian-style blue dress and with her pre-Raphaelite locks cascading loosely down one shoulder, the actress resembled the model she was once - if you could get pass the overdone lips and highly-pronounced cheeks.
The actress was perhaps looking to stars who naturally possess a pair of luscious lips - such as Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts and Scarlett Johansson - for inspiration.
However she has ended up resembling former 'trout pout' queens Leslie Ash, Meg Ryan and Britt Ekland instead.

She has model looks, so why has the 35-year-old actress inflated her lips and gone for the Joker look?
While Burrows has appeared in a number of popular movies inluded Deep Blue Sea and Troy, it is her personal life which has always been more interesting than her screen work.
In the past she has dated director Mike Figgis and was engaged to bisexual actor Alan Cumming.
She is now the partner of acclaimed Irish actress Fiona Shaw.

The actress was discovered at 15 in London's Covent Garden, by the same scout who discovered Naomi Campbell, and embarked on a successful career as a model.
She modelled in Paris and London for Chanel, Yves Saint-Laurent and Vivienne Westwood. But she'd studied drama since she was a child and made her first film at the age of 17, leaving the catwalk behind.

Oh my. This is nightmarish. Just realized she's the same actress who was in that mediocre shark flick, Deep Blue Sea. She was GORGEOUS! What a shame!
