Okay! So I just watched about 10 minutes of the show and I noticed something. Sometimes the guests ask a question that is very vague and wait for Sylvia to answer it without giving too much info. Maybe they are testing her?
Well, I noticed that Sylvia will just look dumbfounded and not respond. Then Montel will ask the guest more questions to get more details from the person. Then Sylvia will chime in with her answer like she knew it all along.
Montel helps her with her cold readings.....

^Yes, I've seen that. It makes me angry, frankly, for the people who are buying into it.

^I never noticed that before, but you're totally right. He must know she's full of bologna. Especially with her end of the year predictions, which she has a 0% correct percentage. I feel so bad for people that have hurt themselves by believing what she tells them.
This is a question for everyone: Do you believe in Sylvia Browne, or psychics in general? I hold out for the possibility that it can exist, but I want to see someone who can blow me away with their predictions, and it hasn't happened yet.

I believe that we are all a bit like radios that can sometimes 'tune in' to dimensions we aren't normally consciously aware of. Some people have a more pronounced ability than others and can 'communicate' in some way with whatever energies exist in those dimensions. However, I do not believe it's "speaking with the dead" and I absolutely do not believe that you can predict future events no matter how 'psychic' you are.

THATS IT. Hello, could you be a tad more vague please?? The chick was standing there like uh....yea....

She's very vague and matter of fact about things. And most of the time totally wrong!

I think she is fake. I didn't believe in her powers, but I went to see her about 5 years ago with a friend who had free tickets. I figured it would be entertainment, like a movie, you know!
She told people wacky shit and told this one lady who had horrible urinary issues that if she stopped letting her mother "piss her off" then she wouldn't have health issues anymore. She was given out all this medical advice and talking about cell memory (something about your cells have memory from your previous life). She was cutting people off before they could say if she was wrong or right about things, she was rude and acted like she knew everything. She pretty much told us her life story and then answered about 30 people's questions, but it was total cold reading. They asked one question and she responded and that was it. They weren't allowed to ask another question/have her elaborate or anything.
She picked people randomly by their wrist band numbers and the girl sitting next to us got chosen. She asked a question about her mother and when she came back to her seat she said she didn't believe in Sylvia anymore. She told people things like, "Be happy you never met your father, he was an EVIL man." She told another girl that she wouldn't marry her current boyfriend and the poor guy sat next to her at the conference in shock.
Anyway, after that it proved to me she just used cold reading. It was fun, like watching a play, but it was all a show in my opinion.
I ended up stumbling onto stopsylviabrowne.com about a year ago and I actually sent in my experience story but he never put it on the website.

So you've been near the witch?
She is such a cold person, no humanity or emotions seem to be running through her.

Yeah, she holds a lot of "lectures" at The Learning Annex. Well, she did 5 years ago. They have a small stage where she sits and then rows and rows of chairs for the audience. You can pay the general admission and sits toward the back (where we were sitted) or you can pay more money to sit in the middle (and increase your odds of being chosen to ask a question). Then they have seats that are in the front rows where you pay tons of money.
It's pretty much like a concert as far as tickets and seating go. I don't know why someone would pay to seat close to that old hag.
ETA: I just went to her website to see if she does her tours. She listed her tickets $50 to $85 for her farewell tour this year. She also has a tour called "Spiritual Salons".... lmao.
Look at the nails:

^A farewell tour, so I guess she's retiring. Now is my chance to rally up all my friends and try to expose her.
