I received this ad for Colgate in my e-mail, and it features this not particularly flattering pic of Brooke Shields; couldn't they have found a better pic to use?

I think you might not have pasted the whole url...it should include something like jpg. at the end. Try again or just post a link or something

^^I posted a pic in the thread about the Duggars that is also showing up as a red x, and that one does have JPG; it's happened to me in the past as well with other pics I post, where one moment you can't see them, and then you can.

that might mean that the sites where you got the pics from do not allow hotlinking (directly linking thus using their bandwidth). What you can do is to save the image yourself onto your comp and then uploade it with something like imageshack or photobucket (google it) then try posting them

It might sound weird and maybe its just me but she looks like shes crying when she smiles. And I think she looks alot prettier when she doesn't smile. (like Kate Winslet)

The first thing I noticed was the fact that her teeth are yellow. You would think that in an ad for toothpaste, they'd at least digitally whiten them.
