I'm sure most of you have probably already seen Whitney's recent pictures, in which she looks like a homeless bag lady, but here is a side by side comparison of her before drugs and her now. It's one of the most terrifying transformations I've ever see. I remember Whitney back when she was at the peak of her career, and she was a very beautiful woman. Few pre-Bobby photographs of her can even be found, but I have managed to find a few, and some others that at least go back far enough before she destroyed herself. Tragic.

That is one of the most tragic things that I have ever seen.....She was so beautiful, talented and elegant and now, there are no words for what she has become. I have to say that if she had never married Bobby that things might have been different for her. Not that he forced her to do drugs, but she evidently got into that lifestyle from being around Bobby. He was always known for being into drugs and she was always so wholesome.

I don't feel bad for her. I do lament for the amazing talent she's squandered, but no one put a gun to her head and told her to take drugs. I know part of how she ended up with Bobby was that her label said her image was too "white". But geez, go marry Will Smith, not that thing!

She's not going to see her 50th birthday. I get a very Billy Holiday vibe from her. What a sad way to slide down

I'm curious, if she stopped drugs TODAY, would her looks recover?
A relative did meth for years, but he was oddly unchanged by it, so I don't know what happens to a typical addict's face while they're recovering.

They keep the harshness in their faces. Just look at most of the Rolling Stones who are/were addicted either to booze or drugs or both, look at Marianne Faithful> it keeps showing long after they've kicked the habit

Robert Downy Jr. doesn't have that harshness.

^^^Yeah, like my brother. And he manufactured & took meth for years. It's really strange. His ex-wife, on the other hand, sadly went from a gorgeous girl to a toothless hag.
You're right, RD Jr. still looks good. Maybe it's something genetic.
