Why does Lady Gaga dress like this?! I DONT like her one bit, and looking at her with stupid weird outfits make me want to throw up!

Okay the one with the shoes is a big FAIL but I rather like the studded corset/leotard with fireworks boobs!

^Yea, I think that's part of the reason why too. She's fugly as hell, so the freakshow outfits deflect from that. AND she gets attention which is the name of the game.

I don't exactly understand why she pisses so many people off. Annoyance, I can understand, but it sounds like it crosses over into anger sometimes. I don't like attention whores either, but I consider it legitimate showmanship when there is actual talent involved.
Like Elton John with the crazy costumes in the 70's or Bowie with the Ziggy Stardust schtick. Kiss and their makeup. Even MJ with his ridiculous glove. All part of their performance.
Plus I agree with Aella on the comparison to drag, which is just fascinating to me. It's playing with aesthetics and the ideas that drive them and I find that interesting.
But the shoes jacket still looks bad.
