Donaldson was educated at the prestigious Camden School for Girls.
Since being scouted by Select Model Management in 2003 while shopping in Camden, Donaldson has become one of Britain's most coveted models, landing campaigns for leading fashion houses such as Dior, Jil Sander, Burberry and Dolce & Gabbana. [2]
In 2005, Donaldson was nominated for the Model of the Year award at the British Fashion Awards, [3] but was beaten by Karen Elson. [4]
In the May 2007 issue of American Vogue, she was featured on the cover with fellow models Doutzen Kroes, Caroline Trentini, Raquel Zimmermann, Sasha Pivovarova, Agyness Deyn, Coco Rocha, Hilary Rhoda, Chanel Iman, and Jessica Stam as the new crop of supermodels and she was described as the "smartest and most sophisticated of the bunch". [2] Later, in the September 2007 issue of British Vogue, she was named a "Head Girl", a model to watch out for in the upcoming season. [5]

I like her. Very unsual one minute, very soft naturally pretty the next. She has range; great model.

Her looks grew on me really quickly - by the end of that post, I really loved her unique features!

I don't care for her square chin.
She reminds me of someone and I just can't place it.

I think she looks amazing in the high-fashion editorial shots...in real life, eh. Though, that's probably true of a lot of high-fashion models.
